With enthusiasm, Lesley incorporates new techniques, mediums, and styles into her works, perpetually yearning to discover yet another form of art. From childhood, Lesley had always been an artist, obsessively cycling through embroidery, sewing, beadwork, and stained glass.

Instilled in Lesley is a dynamism she brings to her mixed-media artworks, employing disparate techniques and elements to the effect of an intuitive practice with unexpected results.

Her work has attracted a distinct quality of maximalism with balance. There is an playful tension between elements along lines of style, color, pattern, technique, and form. She is attuned to a natural state for her artworks, a coexistence between the parts equally vying for attention.
